Every retreat begins long before the retreat.

Every engagement begins with a confidential discovery session with the CEO, followed by one-on-one interviews with every participant.

Those conversations tell us what the team is actually carrying — the tensions that have gone unnamed, the decisions that have been quietly stuck, the trust that has been slowly eroding.

What the team needs to move through is rarely what the agenda would suggest. The retreat is designed from what emerges in those interviews — not from a template — and every participant arrives having already begun the work.

A deliberate emotional and strategic arc.

Day One
Arrival &
Openness

Afternoon arrival at the retreat setting. A structured transition out of work mode — an outdoor experience together, an informal shared meal, and the first facilitated conversation of the retreat.

The goal of the first day is not to solve anything. It is to move the team from professional personas toward genuine human presence — and to establish the trust, confidentiality, and candor the following days will require.

Day Two
Truth &
Breakthrough

The emotional center of the retreat. A morning physical experience together — a hike, a ski tour, or a lake outing, depending on the season. Then the deeper work begins.

Structured personal storytelling. Feedback given directly. Tensions surfaced honestly. This is where the real conversations happen — the ones the team has been avoiding for months, or years.

The day ends with acknowledgment, repair, and a genuine sense that this team has met one another again.

Day Three
Decisions &
Commitment

With the team functioning as a team again, the real business decisions come back to the table. Strategic priorities. Unresolved calls. The questions that have been quietly stuck for a quarter or a year.

This is where the emotional work turns into commercial value. Decisions that felt impossible on Monday morning become clearer here, because the team can finally have the honest conversation required to make them.

The retreat closes with a written leadership covenant — a small number of shared commitments about how this team will operate going forward, and the accountability structure to make them stick.

The retreat is the middle of the work, not the whole of it.

Before

Discovery & design

A confidential discovery session with the CEO. One-on-one interviews with every participant. Custom retreat design informed by what actually emerges. Preparation materials and pre-work sent to every attendee.

During

Three days on-site

Facilitation of the full three-day retreat. Facilitator present throughout — morning through evening — including the outdoor experience, the meals, and the difficult conversations.

After

Follow-through

A written summary of team commitments and the leadership covenant. A 30-day follow-up session with the team to assess what has held, what has slipped, and what the team needs next.

Not a workbook. Not a framework. Actual change.

Every retreat is different. But every retreat produces the same categories of outcome: clarity, commitment, and a team that is measurably more capable than the one that arrived.

  • i.
A leadership covenant A small number of written commitments about how the team will operate — signed by every member.
  • ii.
Strategic decisions made The unresolved business calls that had been quietly stuck are addressed and closed during the retreat.
  • iii.
Repaired relationships The tensions the team has been carrying are addressed directly, with feedback given and acknowledged.
  • iv.
A shared reference point A common experience the team can return to — a moment of honesty that changes what is possible in every meeting after.
  • v.
30-day accountability A follow-up session to assess what has held and to surface what has already slipped.

Every retreat is bespoke. Once your team arrives, we handle everything else.

We select and manage every logistical detail — property, meals, guides, transport — from a curated set of providers we know and trust in the Park City area. Your team's only job is the work in the room.

If the work is consequential, the conversation should be too.

Every inquiry is reviewed personally. We respond within two business days, typically with a request to schedule a confidential conversation with the CEO before anything is proposed.
